today i'm thankful for day light savings time. seriously that extra hour of sleep rocked my socks off.

and yes, i'm a little ashamed that i'm so old that extra sleep was way more important to me than an extra hour out downtown.

Mrs. Jacobs: Hello! Welcome to second grade with Mrs. Jacobs. I'm so glad you're here and can't wait to share all the amazing things we'll be doing in room 125 this year. I love teaching and learning but also have two fellows I'm even more in love with. We'll call them T and W. I'm a native Texan who spent many years in at the University of Kentucky getting an education and starting my career. I enjoy reading, sewing and being with my family and friends.
