we've been in louisville now for a month. it seems like life is moving at warp speed these days.

and there's no sign of slowing down!

things we've been up to:

work.
wedding planning.
fam time.
doctor appointments.
hanging with friends.
dealing with broken ACs.
visiting maddie. all. the. time.
sewing.
going to trader joes at least once a week.
walking all over crestwood.
fighting our HOA.
visiting lexington.
shopping.
decorating the house.
getting used to a bad job.
drinking two buck chuck.
finding our way around.
enjoying our DVR. seriously.
planning some summer trips.
loving every moment even when it's not perfect.

to be honest, it's not been everything we imagined, but when is it?

we're still so happy we moved and blessed beyond words!

funday friday. slept in. ran errands. mexican lunch. visiting baby maddie. oaks party. late night. lazy saturday. crafting. sewing. derby. movie night. grocery shopping. trader joe's (love of my life. sorry T.). home run burgers and fries. cookout at the honadel's. cuddling with mad. late night after T got home. DVRing. wedding talk. life talk. a good night's sleep.

friday's fabulousness

as you all know, T and i just moved. we also started new jobs recently. we're also planning a wedding and getting to know a new city. life is moving. fast.

in order to slow down i've been taking some time just for me.

1. i love this song. i also love taylor but that's beside the point. it's just so soothing. i also love the hunger games.

 

2. now that we have real cable (!!!) and dvr, i'm obsessed with watching all kinds of things i haven't been able to before. and now i can watch shows whenever i please!

3. decorating is actually a HUGE stress reliever for me. i love using stuff i already have and changing it up in a different way. how convienient that we just moved and i had to decorate all over again! this one of my favorite areas in our new house...we finally have a bar, albeit small one. but still, a place for all our new bar stuff (thanks joe and alex!)

4. mom booked my flight to dallas for july fourth weekend! can't wait to see all my fav people down there. we're going to shop and eat and wedding craft all weekend. get ready gals! 

5. going to see this with the bestie tonight. can't wait! it also helps that i get to see maddie and cuddle her all night, if i want!

it's only been since christmas that i did a craft for me, seriously.

more like a week recap. i'll be sharing photos from the last ten days do get ready for the mad chaos that was my life!!






1 & 2. last day with the girls calls for individual pics. so i can frame them and cry when i look at them because i miss them so badly.

3. why yes i had packed up all our kitchen stuff and so i bought ravioli in a can and had to use a straw to eat it. and that straw worked really well, if i'm honest.

4. movers. best $600 i have ever spent.

4. i hung this huge and very, very heavy shelf all by my lonesome. this is really just to prove to josh that i did it.

see? we really have been crazy busy.

what you don't see is that we are completely done unpacking and decorating, i attended a birthday dinner and stayed out till midnight, have run numerous errands, spent time at dad's house, had a Mary Kay party and made it through several thunderstorms.
