so a couple weeks ago when trav and i went to ikea, i picked up three unfinished mirrors. they are 3x3 inch mirrors set in a 10x10 inch frame. since the frames were unfinished i decided to paint them. right now i've favoring a gray and yellow color scheme, so i went to the store and bought some paint and went to town!
i painted one gray and two yellow.
then, i decided to do a little design on the yellow ones. i taped it out and painted over with the gray.
once i removed the tape, i got my ribbons ready for hanging. each ribbon is one yard.
the mirrors came with little hooks that i screwed in to the back. i measured two inches down and two inches in.
i then strung my ribbon through the hooks and tied them in a knot.
here are all three mirrors ready to be hung.
i hung them going up the stairs right outside my bedroom door.

p.s. here's an updated pic of my new bedding. i used my old euro shams (that i bought in austin a while back. and i love the pink!) and bought a new micro plush blanket in a deep eggplant color from target. more layers = i love it even more!
