wishes: december must dos

every year i have a list of things i must do during the month of december. sometimes i don't always get through it all but i try really hard. this year, T must also do these things with me. i'm sure he's hating it but he's so sweet he'll never say! 

1. christmas movies. my list includes all the harry potters, just friends, the grinch, a christmas carol, polar express, little women, charlie brown, love actually, you've got mail, a christmas story, it's a wonderful life, elf and the family stone.

2. visit family on christmas eve and day. 

3. christmas lights. we must go see light somewhere. anywhere as long as their twinkling!

4. play christmas music every day. 

5. baking. i don't care if it's cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, cakes, muffins, peppermint bark, etc. as long as it's decorated and smells heavenly. and has sugar, duh.

6. craft. sew. craft. sew. 

7. decorate the house. although we started the weekend before thanksgiving this year, oops. i wish my house looked like this...

8. wrap the presents in the most beautiful way possible. 

9. drink as much hot chocolate as possible.

10. read christmas books with liv and lilly. 

11. make dallas wear his puffer vest.

12. play in the snow. 

13. celebrate myra's birthday.

14. turn the heat on. 

15. go see the nutcracker. ballet. on ice. play form. i've seen it all and i love it!

wishes: winter clothing

so i have five clothing must haves for my winter fashion...

1.

a pair of flats with a bow! these are jessica simpson.

2.

a chunky sweater tunic. this one is from old navy.

3.

tights in any fun color or pattern.

ribbed leggings. i love the snaps! both are from the gap.

4.

this coat is amazing. i'm usually not one for fur or faux fur but i tried this on and i loved it. so flattering. pick it up at old navy. bonus alert! it's less than $100!

5.

skinny cords. in every color. from any store. although i love the ones at jcrew (pictured above) and oldnavy.

risky business

so i'm not too fond of winter sports.

love watching them but not a fan of partaking in them.

let's recall when i went skiing this past april and barely made it up the mountain only to get to the top to start dry heaving and had to be taken down by the emt on his gurney sled...really attractive throwing up off the side of it too!

so needless to say i love the snow but we don't always do well together.

well i was talked in to sledding this last weekend and oh boy! i ended up running into a tree stump thigh first...it was pitiful.

so here's my nasty bruise...this is actually a good pic because it did turn black for about three days!

all in all we had a good time. glad nothing was broken or that my leg didn't fall off!

who knows what kind of trouble i'll get into this weekend!

so. cold.

i'm freezing.

winter has come and i don't like it. it's been raining and it's so cold. and i just can't warm up.

i hate it.

on another note. i'll be in st. louis this weekend for work. should be a good time.

i'm ready to not be so busy but that won't be here until about the 15th.

12 more days!
