starting over

so a lot has happened in the last couple of months. i'm not sure where to really begin and thus why it's taken me a while to get on here and blog about it.

one thing is for sure. i'll make this short and sweet! :)

i recently quit my job...long story and remember this is supposed to be short and sweet! {if you'd like to know just give me a ring and i'll divulge all details!}

so now i'm starting over on the job thing. i'm looking everywhere...seriously. louisville and lexington mainly but also texas, new york city, colorado, california. wherever my heart desires.

i figure if i am willing to go any where then the Lord will provide and put me where i belong.

so now starts the process all over and i'll keep you posted just like last time. let's hope it doesn't take as long as last time though!

good news: job interview #1 is tomorrow at 2pm so say some prayers around then.

new hair for the new year

so i got my bangs cut today and i'm getting used to them but i think i love them.

something new and different.

another great movie

i watched fireproof tonight.

what an awesome movie with a great lesson.

if you haven't watched it do. if you have a spouse, watch it with them. if you don't then be patient!

i can't wait to put into practice what i've learned about marriage {from this movie among other things!} into my own someday.

christmas is my favorite

so presents are great. and visiting with family is lovely. and we all love santa.

but the real reason for the season is JESUS!

julie and julia

i'm watching this movie as i write and i love it!

i have decided that i am living in the wrong decade. i should have been born forty or fifty years earlier. i love everything there is about julia and i love this movie!

i've decided that once i get married i'm totally doing her recipes. {it doesn't make sense to do that now, as i have no one to cook for!} i love cooking and it's a calming activity and i love learning about different and new foods. i wish i was as passionate about something as they both are about food and cooking.

my new passion is going to be trying to find my passion. i know so much about what i don't want or like. i wish i could just figure out what it is that i love. soon. i will soon.
