birthday wish list

so the countdown is on.

and if you don't know what's going on that day then you either don't know me or shame on you.

so i'm making my birthday wish list. {feel free to get any or all!} {obviously i'm just kidding and totally do not expect anything!}

i really need this to add to the disney collection as it goes in the vault on my birthday and so does snow white...yikes! {amazon}

i don't really want these but it's a necessity. or so dad tells me so i don't die while driving.

would love to see him at rupp arena on feb 26th. {ticketmaster}

and my ultimate birthday wish is to have a new job. i don't care where it is. {even if i have to move across the country, world. i don't care i just want one!}

so start making the calls to each other so you can coordinate and not get the same thing {i hate returns!} haha, just kidding again y'all! but like i said before it sure is fun to wish! :)

i have this obsession with owls right now.

i'm not kidding you.

most of you are probably wondering why i would like owls, seeing as how i hate...no loathe...birds.

well i don't think owls are on the same level as other birds and it's also possible that birds are growing on me. not like dirty birds like pigeons and crows but beautiful ones like owls, eagles and the sorts.

nonetheless here are the owls.

i would totally put this in my house. {if i had one that is!}

so i'm not too fond of winter sports.

love watching them but not a fan of partaking in them.

let's recall when i went skiing this past april and barely made it up the mountain only to get to the top to start dry heaving and had to be taken down by the emt on his gurney sled...really attractive throwing up off the side of it too!

so needless to say i love the snow but we don't always do well together.

well i was talked in to sledding this last weekend and oh boy! i ended up running into a tree stump thigh first...it was pitiful.

so here's my nasty bruise...this is actually a good pic because it did turn black for about three days!

resolutions

i usually don't make resolutions but this year i've decided to write them down and make myself accountable!

these are my top ten resolutions...

1. train for a 5k. aka work out more!

2. blog more consistently.

3. write to people more often. {including thank you notes!}

4. keep in better touch with friends and fam who are not near.

5. stop biting my nails.

6. stop eating out so much.

7. read more.

8. fight less :)

9. be more helpful.

10. give thanks and praise more often!

i have a feeling this year is going to be huge! so many things are changing and it just feels like a fun ride is ahead!

1. 2010 Winter Olympics!!!!

2. Jennifer's wedding.

3. Travs graduation from the MBA program.

4. Sarah's wedding.

5. Endless possibilities for a career and possibly moving...scary!

I know there's probably tons more to come and I'm just so excited for this year!

1. Travis moved back to Kentucky in January.

2. I graduated from UK!

3. Got my first post grad job.

4. Dallas turned 1.

5. Moved to Louisville.

6. Spent a great Thanksgiving in Dallas.

7. Spent a great 4th of July in Ludington, MI.

8. Got to spend Christmas at Dad's with the whole fam; including Sharon and Kalli!

9. Started blogging.

10. Spent NYE with Travis for the first year since we've been dating!

what an amazing year...i can't wait to see what 2010 has in store!
