this one's coming atcha a little early because it's just so hilarious!

olivia's new fav thing to say is...

"i'm just digging for gold."

and not just in the picking her nose context but for just about anything that has to do with digging. like digging in the dirt, or digging through a box of toys or through the pantry for a snack! it's just too funny.

it's nice to know...

that older generations still know how to have a good time!

weekend recap

this weekend was so much fun!

mom and greg were in town and we met them in louisville at the bats baseball game with grandpa and glenda. afterwards we went to 4th street and had a few drinks.

saturday was errand/shopping/cleaning day for me. plus dal came back from the kennel so it was a good hangout night. i cleaned the apartment like crazy for the fam's visit sunday.

sunday trav and i headed to lunch with the fam. josh served us at friday's and then they came over to have a lookey at the house. i love showing off where i live because i'm so proud of our place.

sunday night was isaiah and sarah's engagement party. it was so nice to meet their families and celebrate the two of them. there was food and games and laughter all night! and trav is going to be an usher at the wedding so he was is so excited to be a part of their big day next june.

update: liv + lilly

olivia: loves to hide under covers, go to her wiggle worms class and "dig for gold" in her nose! she's starting preschool soon and loves her new backpack. she loves cupcakes and yo gabba gabba. she says i'm the boss but i'll just have to take her word on that!

lilly: loves to chew on anything. she's eating baby food and growing like a weed. she laughs at the dogs and loves her jumparoo. she's sleeping more and more on her tummy and sitting up on her own most of the time. she's going to start crawling soon and she'll take off like a rocket too!

they both love to go to the park and target and we're having a ball.

is this really my job?!
