day 18

today i'm thankful for time.

time to wait. time to figure it all out. time to be silly. time to be loved. time to play. time to spend with family and friends. time to talk. time to rest.

generally time and i are not friends. i want things to happen immediately but today, for some strange reason, i'm okay with time, well, taking it's time.

today i'm thankful for my best friend jennifer!

and today is also her 25th birthday!!!!!

this is my fav pic of us. we were having so much fun this night at a date party for AOII. we became friends through the sorority and it didn't take long for me to figure out that she would for sure be one of my forever friends!

this was at josh's birthday dinner a few years ago.

jennifer has helped me through so much over the last six years, i can't even begin to thank her! we've seen each other through thick and thin and we still love each other!

this is from her bachelorette party in may. we had a great time that night! i still can't believe you're all married now!

i love you so much puckett, uh, i mean honadel...that just doesn't sound right! so glad you're my friend. and even more glad that you continue to be, even though you know so, so much!

update: home decor

so here's my end of fall/thanksgiving home decor. i've never been huge into thanksgiving decor but this year i wanted to change that up a little.

the turkey on the far right was $5 at homegoods. i love that place! and the clear thing in the middle is a votive candle holder and i got it on sale (for real cheap!) at z gallerie this past weekend.

the only things i changed: i added the leaf pillow and took the candy corn out of the hurricanes. what should i put in there now? i need help with that! might just wait until christmas and put in m&m's in red and green.

this is my fav area of thanksgiving decor. i got the pilgrims buy one get one at gordmans and the prints are from craftily ever after. she has some great printables (and they're all free!). my favs were the keep calm and cranberry on, the gather with grateful hearts, and keep calm and gobble on!

hope you like. this stuff will only be out until thanksgiving but i love it! and i'm getting even more excited about decorating for christmas now!

today i'm thankful for windows live. because now trav and i will be able to chat live face to face! yay, it'll be like we're in the same room. well not really but close enough, right? ta ta, gotta chat with my man!
