so i know what you're thinking, "two wishes posts in two days! wow, we're lucky."

and the truth is, you are!

but i stumbled upon this necklace and have actually been admiring all things pennant lately so i decided to get all my favs together for a post!

it all started with this necklace!

i love this idea for a birthday cake topper from justloverly.

all the prints are cute from evajuliet but i love the pennant print the mostest!

i love the many uses of pennants. from weddings to birthday parties. housewares to jewelry. they are so fun and festive. can be made for any holiday or event. i think i'm going to get crafty with my own pennants now. see ya later!

wishes: winter clothing

so i have five clothing must haves for my winter fashion...

1.

a pair of flats with a bow! these are jessica simpson.

2.

a chunky sweater tunic. this one is from old navy.

3.

tights in any fun color or pattern.

ribbed leggings. i love the snaps! both are from the gap.

4.

this coat is amazing. i'm usually not one for fur or faux fur but i tried this on and i loved it. so flattering. pick it up at old navy. bonus alert! it's less than $100!

5.

skinny cords. in every color. from any store. although i love the ones at jcrew (pictured above) and oldnavy.

update: liv + lilly

so here are some things the girls are up to lately.

lilly is starting to eat a few solid foods.

liv is so excited for halloween. we talk about it five times a day.

the girls love to dance. even lilly dances in her exersaucer.

liv has so many friends at preschool, the little gym and from the park. she's really coming out of her shell.

i swear lilly said baby the other day. swear it!

liv can talk me into going to sonic three times a week. i don't give in but it's hard to pass up a diet strawberry limeade. especially from 2 to 4 pm when it's happy hour!

we make a pit stop at the dollar spot of target at least once a week for arts and crafts supplies and fun toys and books.

also, our warm and comfortable weather may be coming to an end but we def got in a good day at the park last week!

i love how much more we can do these days because the girls are getting so big. just check out the pics!

sad to say but i never thought they'd make it to the world series.

don't get me wrong, i'm a die hard fan of all my dallas/texas teams but it was hard to keep your hopes up for them.

but that's all changed because we're going.

and we're going to win.

weekend recap

bowling green. barclay's fam. cookout. snapped. no sleep. american doughnuts. drive back. small bladder. dinner with trav. target. kroger. bad dog. dress up dal as a pumpkin. dvr. early bed time.

i love this pup! and i think everyone's pretty much figured that out. he's just so sweet.

i talked about him non stop on our trip and missed him like crazy.

he's been super cuddly and sweet since we got back. i'm pretty sure he missed the heck out of us too!

vacay: day 4

sunday we were up at 4 am and back at home in lexington by 2 pm. it was a long travel day but i was glad to be back and getting in the swing of normal life again.

we had a great time with fam and friends and i can't wait to go back!

i want to give a special thanks to my mom for coming down to austin saturday so i could see her and greg and schwab and brinks!

i also want to thank my aunt myra for putting on the best birthday party for lew and allowing us to come visit. and for being sooooooo excited that we were coming in town!

i want to thank my grandparents for lunch on friday and spending time with us while were there.

and a big big thanks goes to sherry for being a fab host, taking us to dinner, providing breakfast and cookie cake and showing us around. you're the best and i love you so much!

and last but not least thanks to trav for taking us on a great trip, i love you so much!

josh's concert

you didn't think i was going to let you miss the concert of the weekend did you? never.

i love listening to baby bro sing and play the guitar (well any instrument, really) and having sherry sing back up was just icing on the cake. these two will def be singing at my wedding one day. :)

sorry you missed it live.

vacay: day 3

saturday we had plans to go to breakfast at the mad hatter but those were thwarted when we discovered sherry's cats had tape worms...long story! but we ended up getting up and heading to austin early.
