dallas

let me start by saying this was one of the best trips home ever!

we started off the trip driving to louisville early tuesday morning.

typical: me on the computer at the airport, duh.

josh eating a giant cookie at 10 am, what's new!

we got to dallas around 1pm and thus began our amazing vacay!

so excited we've landed and can't wait to see mama!
mom was sooooo excited, can't you tell?! :)

we wasted no time going to lunch at bj's and shopping (i finally introduced mom to the wonderful world of homegoods and we hit the outlet mall for sure!)

then we got our gangsta faces on in the car while jamming.

mom's was more of a gangsta claw {feel free to make fun of her claw!}

josh's was pretty legit.

and then he conveniently ruined mine by making me laugh!

greg was working the first night we were there so we had dinner and hung out, nice and relaxing evening.
we def had to take brinks' gangsta pic, and being the badass gangsta he is, he wasn't all too thrilled!

josh is so weird.

mom doing mom {or is it mafia wars?!}

movie of the night {and by far one of my top ten of all times!}

wednesday greg was off work so all four of us went to the movies and shopping some more and out for drinks and ate at my fav.........MI COCINA!

date night was hilarious and i'm so glad we saw it. plus there was a little part in there that really made me think about letting the small things go and allowing your partner to help you out. funny and thoughtful!

mom and i right when the lights went down.

we had drinks at this pub {can't remember the name} that was really cool.

best meal ever. seriously, if i were on death row and they asked what i wanted my last meal to be it would be sunset fajitas from mi cocina with extra guac and salsa and extra spicy!

oh by the way apparently i love guacamole. who knew?

best/hottest salsa on the face of the planet. period. don't argue.

josh stuffing his face. don't worry i was too but there's no physical proof :)

thursday was mostly mom and i during the day. josh and greg went golfing {as men do} and mom and i went to get her hair done and shopped more {really? yes.} we went to bj's again and i had the spiciest pasta i've ever had and it was delicious but i could hardly eat it. then it was cheesecake factory for dessert.

friday josh and i hung out and we tried this place greg's daughter, reggie suggested purple kiwi. it's a self serve fro yo place with lots of yummy/healthy toppings.

again with the face stuffing.

my concoction. chocolate with strawberries, birthday cake with oreos and strawberry with cheesecake bites. the bday cake wasn't really that great but everything else was and i would eat there everyday if i could! thinking of starting up one here in lex, who wants to be my investor?!

later friday night we met greg's kids for the first time and played a very intense, very fun game of catchphrase. then it was off to bed to get some beauty sleep before the big day!

saturday was wedding day. they were sooooo calm, cool and collective! :) it was a beautiful ceremony and we had a great time celebrating at dinner and drinks afterwards.

how cute?

we did so much throughout the week that we were really ready to go home sunday. i know mom and greg were ready for their honeymoon and it was time to get back to reality {work...boo, dallas and travis...yay!}

back in the ky!

big thanks to mom and greg for having us. we had a blast and couldn't be more happy for the two of you!
